случае если злобный юзер сделал ему ShutDown или вообще
запретить ему это делать(кроме физического вмешательства)

Problem:
How to shutdown / start the server manually.

Solution:
NOTE:
It is critical to ensure there are not any current
connections to any active databases on the server
prior to shut down.

Unlike Windows NT, the 4 user InterBase Server as well as the
Local InterBase Server for Windows 95 run as applications not
as services.

Methods for:
GUI Control Panel

Command-line (IB) - ibserverbinINSTSVC.EXE
(NT) - winnt35system32NET.EXE

Examples:
GUI:
Starting the Server:
From Start:

Programs | InterBase 4.2 | InterBase Server 4.2

From Desktop:
Place an "ibserver.exe" shortcut on your desktop.
Double click on the icon.

* The steps listed above will cause the server to start and
should place an InterBase icon in the "Taskbar".

Stopping the Server:
From Taskbar:
Right click on InterBase icon. Select shutdown.
This will cause the server to stop and will
remove the InterBase icon from your "Taskbar".

Command-line:
(IB) - ibserverbinINSTSVC.EXE
NOTE: For help with, type "instsvc help"

Syntax:
Open a DOS session:

instsvc stop (stops service)
instsvc start (starts service)

Юзер, тем более злобный, не должен иметь доступа к машине, на которой установлен IB
